ISO 9001, and the records a buyer can actually check.

The short answer The certificate is real and its number is published here, so you can verify it with the issuing body rather than take our word for it. What matters more than the certificate is what leaves the factory with the steel: material certificates, welding records, dimensional and coating inspection, and pre-assembly. Buyers are welcome to walk the floor before an order, and to appoint their own inspector during it.

The certificate

Certificate No. 19822QA0131R1S

Check it before you rely on it. A certificate number is only worth something if the buyer confirms it with the body that issued it, and every serious supplier expects that check. The certificate is in scope for steel structures and grid structures — it is a management-system certificate, not a product certificate, and we are not going to present it as one.

What travels with the steel

A certificate says a system exists. These are the records that show it was used on your building.

DocumentWhat it coversWhen it is issued
Material test certificate (MTC) Heat number, grade and mechanical properties for the sections and plates actually used With the shipment, matched to the packing list
Welding procedure qualification records The procedures applied to your joints, and the test results behind them Available before fabrication starts; copy with the documents
Welder qualification records Which welders held valid qualification for the processes used Available on request, with the welder identification used on the members
Dimensional inspection record Member lengths, hole positions, frame geometry against the approved drawings At pre-assembly, before packing
Coating inspection record Surface preparation, dry film thickness readings and adhesion check Before dispatch
Pre-assembly check Frames trial-assembled so that bolt holes and splices are proven before the container is loaded Before packing; photographs available
Packing list and container loading plan What is in which package, marked to the erection sequence Before shipment

Third-party inspection

Appoint your own inspector and we will host them. That is a normal request on exported steel and it is easier to agree before the order than to negotiate afterwards.

  • Buyer-nominated inspection is accepted at the works, at any stage from material receipt to pre-dispatch.
  • Inspection can be hold-point based if you want fabrication paused at agreed stages for review.
  • Photographs and video of any stage are provided if travelling to China is not practical.
  • If an inspector raises a non-conformity, the response is a written disposition against that item, not a verbal assurance.

Walking the floor

Buyers from Peru and Argentina have visited the production base before placing orders — two countries, separate visits. These photographs are from those visits. The people in them are the visiting buyers and our own engineers, and none of them is photographed face-on: the camera is behind them or on the work they are examining.

Visiting buyers walking the production aisle between crane runways
A production aisle between crane runways. The visitors walk the full length of the bay rather than a prepared sample area.
Buyer inspecting plate at the cutting line
At the cutting line, checking a plate against the drawing. Weld preparation is visible before it is closed up.
Plates stacked at the profile station during a buyer visit
Plate and profile station. Material is stacked by heat number so the MTC can be traced to the member.
Visitors walking through a fabrication bay past crane rails
Working bay under the overhead cranes. Bay spacing on the floor is the same dimension the drawings specify.
Assembly bay with fabricated members during a plant visit
Assembly bay, mid-fabrication. Nothing here is staged for the visit; it is the floor as it runs.

Visits are arranged in advance and are limited by what is actually being fabricated that week — if you want to see a specific process, say which one, because a bay can be idle on the day you arrive.

What this page does not claim

ISO 9001 is the only management-system certification cited anywhere on this site, and the certificate number above is the only one. We do not present other certifications, approvals or equivalences, and we do not claim a product certification we do not hold. Where a project requires something we cannot evidence, that is stated before the order is placed, not discovered after it.

This page also carries no prices and no tonnage. Both depend on the building's own loads, and a figure published without them is a figure that misleads.
